Ota-Verse: A sad Reunion

So I'm revamping my story from like 2 years ago XD
and I really want to keep trying on making more stories and such so I'm
going to focus on these for a little while ok.
so here goes nothing XD

(It was a warm spring day in Ponyville, Ponies were out and about doing daily chores and
errands or just enjoying the sunshine. On this day Russle Apple was helping his father in
the market place selling apples and apple goods while also keeping his father in line of
course. As the day went on Russle soon became bored and wanted to go for a walk, luckily
his younger sister was coming to take over for him.)

Paula : "Ok Russ, you can go home now, I'll take over from here."

Russle : "Thanks Red, I'll see you and Pa at home?"

Paula : "Yuppers."

Flim : "We can handle things from here sport, if you get bored I think your mother said
            something about the south orchard needing to be looked at." 

Russle  : "Okay Pa, See ya later." 

(Russle Walked off towards the center of town humming a little song and thinking about a
certain pony as he trotted. Russle was hoping that later on that day he would get to see his
old friend who was coming from Canterlot for a visit, Amethyst Shine. She was a lovely
young unicorn with a very generous heart and a good sense of fashion, Russle had always
enjoyed her company since they were little and since she was his little sisters best friend he
ended up spending a lot of time with her while growing up and ended up developing feelings
for her. However he could never bring himself to ask her out or tell her how he felt since he
figured that it would make things weird for his sister and he also thought that he might not
be good enough for her. No matter how much he liked Amethyst Shine he stayed silent with
his feelings and admired her from the sidelines.
Russle kept trotting along and soon reached the street near the fountain and thought he
would have a drink when he heard a familiar laugh, he turned the corner and saw Amethyst
with Purple Zapp. The way she looked at him and laughed at his jokes made Russle's heart
sink in his chest, he knew she was a popular pony, especially with other stallions, and she
had a right to be with anypony she wanted to be with, but it still saddened him. Russle
turned around and looked back once more with a saddened look on his face before he
started walking home.
